Flat hunting

Saw 4 flats today. Here is the account illustrated

Flat 1
Located near the airport right underneath the route to the airstrip. Small with weird diagonal walls.

Notice that the drainer hangs over the floor. I wonder what happens with the water from the wet plates. Underneath the sink and cooker theres the fridge and a small cupboard that does not close properly.

Thats the view showing the living room/kitchen to the right. No extractor fan in the kitchen. Sofa has probably been there since th 50s.

Thats the other view from the front door to th living room. The workspace is that shelf to the left. It is quite low so I believe the former tenant must have been a dwarf.

This is all the cupboard space!!!

This is a nice picture of the loo that the state agent sent me. Muuuccchhh nicer than reality. There is mould on the ceiling and there is no room for turning inside the shower (which is electrical and you risk getting electrocuted).

The bedroom. Aside the diagonal wall it is not bad.

All this for the bargain price of R$1,600 pcm
Price includes: water, gas, cable tv, internet, maint. Fee and council tax

Issues that bothered me: no proper working space, unless i am a midget. The lack of storage space and the ridiculous bathroom. Apart from the planes of course

Flat 2 in the next post
